Network Interface Connector Standards - Defined and Explained


This application guide identifies the most commonly used serial communications interface standards and includes notes regarding their applications.

Connectors that are either specified (via a relevant standard) for an interface type or that are commonly used (i.e. a defacto industry standard) are identified for each interface standard considered. Signals supported by FarSite products are indicated for each connector type.
